Shared Use Nonmotorized Trail (SUNTrail) program announces open funding cycle

The Florida Department of Transportation is currently soliciting Request For Funding projects for the Shared-Use Nonmotorized (SUN) Trail program. The successful projects will be included in the work program development cycle through Fiscal Years 2030/31. Approved project phases will become part of the Adopted Work Program on July 1, 2026. The solicitation cycle opened October 8, 2024, and will close at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, December 19, 2024. 

To be eligible, applicants must apply during the solicitation cycle online through the Grant Application Process (GAP) system at flgap.com.
