Wildlife Quickly Adapts to New I-4 Crossing

The newly constructed I-4 wildlife crossing at SR 557 has already begun serving its purpose. Completed on September 6, 2024, the crossing was built by FDOT to provide a safe passage for animals across the busy interstate. 

Thanks to fStop Foundation, monitoring efforts are capturing the early success of the project through motion-activated trail cameras. Check out some local wildlife that are already putting the wildlife crossing to good use:
